This room is dedicated to student parents and their keiki, and can also be used as a lactation space. Enjoy a private room with books and games for keiki, comfortable seating for relaxation or lactation, and student parent resources.

Speech Lab | Lama 208A
Need to meet with a group, plan a presentation, have a Zoom meeting? The Lamakū Learning Center has multiple study rooms that students can reserve to use by themselves or with a group. Each room has a table, chairs and a whiteboard. In addition, the Speech Lab has a computer wall monitor so students can practice a presentation or speech, or collaborate using a big screen. You can reserve a room up to two weeks in advance!


Lama Recording Studio
Lama 208C
The Lama Recording Studio hosts professional recording equipment for students to use. With four podcast microphones, a mixing table, headsets and soundproofing panels, this room is perfect for all your recording needs. Sensory Room Pop-Up
Wellness Space | Lama 207A
For a limited time, the Wellness Space is hosting a Sensory Room Pop-Up brought to you by the UH Center on Disability Studies. Featuring 15+ sensory items, including a calming corner, star projector and rocker chair, fidget toys, scented silly putty, a fiber optic light, a space out tent and more, this room is designed to help manage stress and over-stimulation and to promote relaxation and self-regulation.
The Wellness Space is a dedicated studio that supports healthy practices for both students and employees.


Meditation Space

This small sanctuary is available to students and employees and provides a dedicated environment designed to minimize distractions and promote a state of deep relaxation and focus. By integrating ergonomic floor cushions, soft lighting, and speakers playing ambient nature sounds, the space encourages the body to settle and the mind to refocus.


Engage Space
Lama 201
The Engage Space is a premier campus destination designed to break down academic silos and foster a culture of collective growth. It serves as a vibrant, multi-purpose space where students transition from solitary study to active engagement, connecting with peers, faculty, and the broader community through a variety of learning activities, club meetings, and professional presentations. Mac Lab
The Study Hub
The Mac Lab has MacBook Air & Pro laptops available for students to use on a first-come, first-serve basis. The laptops need to stay in the Study Hub area, but are free to use with no reservation.

Flexible Spaces
Lamakū Learning Center (2nd floor)
In addition to separate study rooms, the Lamakū Learning Center has lots of flexible study spaces for students to use alone or as a group. We have moveable flex wall whiteboards that can form a makeshift cubicle for privacy and easy brainstorming. There are also individual study carrels for more private studying. No reservation needed!
Need whiteboard markers? Forgot your charger or headphones? Students, staff, and faculty may borrow items for free from the library. Just head downstairs to the Circulation Desk to check out an item.
