Who can use The Study Hub?

Any KCC student needing tutoring.

Why is there a limit of ONE appointment per day?

So that other students will have an opportunity to meet with a tutor.

How much does tutoring cost?

This service is free for our students.

Can the tutors edit or proofread my work?

The tutors cannot write your paper, fix your grammar errors, or select a topic for you. However, they will show you how to improve your writing, narrow your topic selection, refine your thesis statement, help with word choice, identify weakness in your structure or paragraph transitions.

Do tutors also provide private tutoring outside of the Study Hub schedule?

No, Study Hub peer tutors work through our program and do not tutor independently.

Is reading tutoring available?

The Study Hub does not provide tutoring for reading. Writing Peer Tutors do provide support for all writing assignments at any stage of the writing process.
