Peer Tutors

Individual sessions with one of our peer tutors gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one to help you reach your learning goals.

About Available Tutoring

Our ESOL tutors offer sessions to practice English conversation or to help with the following courses: ​

  • IS 54 

  • ESOL 50, 52, 90, 92, 94 

  • ESL 100 

Booking an Appointment

To make an appointment with a tutor or to check tutoring availability:

  1. Login to STAR Balance & choose KAP Study Hub.  

  2. Select a tutoring topic in the Tutoring filter dropdown. 

  3. Select a tutor to see availability (or select all tutors to see full availability). 

  4. Choose a session time. Select tutor & appointment duration. 

  5. Confirm your Appointment Reason & choose your Attendance Type (how you want to meet with your tutor). 

  6. In the Appointment Comment, indicate the type of help you need. ​​

🙋 = Tutor is available in-person in the library & can take walk-ins

💻 = Tutor is available online
