About Math Tutoring
Our math tutors offer course-specific assistance, as well as help with general math questions.
To check what tutoring is available this semester, see the course availability table below! In general, students need to be enrolled in a math-related class to book an appointment with a math tutor in STAR.
The STEM Center also provides free tutoring for higher-level math courses, as well as support for other science-related subjects.
Book an Appointment
To make an appointment with a tutor or to check tutoring availability:

Login to STAR Balance & choose KAP Study Hub.

Select a tutoring topic in the Tutoring filter dropdown.

Select a tutor to see availability (or select all tutors to see full availability).

Choose a session time. Select tutor & appointment duration.

Confirm your Appointment Reason & choose your Attendance Type (how you want to meet with your tutor).

In the Appointment Comment, indicate the type of help you need.

To sign up for tutoring at the STEM Center, go to STEM Center Peer Mentoring and select the "MATH" tab.
